I’m self taught. I’ve always been a good artist, so one day, a friend decided to let me tattoo him. That’s the worst tattoo I’ve ever done! But I continued to learn and grow, and eventually spent 19 years working at the same tattoo shop until my wife and I opened Prestige Body Art in 2023,

I did a traditional apprenticeship at a tattoo shop, and I continue to learn new things all the time.

How did you get started tattooing:
I’ve always been creative and have been creating some sort of artwork since I was a kid. My husband encouraged me to learn to tattoo, so I taught myself and moved into a professional shop shortly after. Each year I continue to grow and push myself because the ceiling is never high enough!
